The 2nd International Conference on Vision, Advanced Imaging and Computer Technology (VAICT 2026) was successfully held online on April 10, 2026.

VAICT 2026 bringing together distinguished scholars, academic researchers, technical experts and participants worldwide, the conference focused on frontier topics in visual computing, advanced imaging, intelligent systems and interdisciplinary applications, providing a high‑level platform for academic exchange, technological sharing and collaborative innovation.

During the conference, four renowned keynote speakers delivered insightful reports:

Prof. Bin Liu, Dalian University of Technology, shared advances in 3D mesh model registration via deep mapping by local projection for optical scanning‑based reverse engineering.

Prof. Zhenghao Shi, Xi’an University of Technology, presented low‑light image processing methods from traditional priors to deep learning frameworks.

Prof. Xiangjie Kong, Zhejiang University of Technology, introduced the latest progress in cross‑modal visual object tracking.

Assoc. Prof. Aslina Baharum, Taylor’s University (Malaysia), discussed human‑centered artificial intelligence in advanced imaging and intelligent systems.

A series of high‑quality oral presentations were also delivered, covering facial animation viseme systems, LiDAR novel view synthesis, object detection for smart agriculture, ISAR imaging for marine net cage aquaculture, Gaussian SLAM in dynamic indoor–outdoor environments, and other cutting‑edge research and engineering practices.

VAICT 2026 owes its complete success to the generous support of all keynote speakers, oral presenters, session chairs, reviewers and participants. We sincerely appreciate your professional dedication, active participation and valuable contributions that have enriched the academic content and promoted in‑depth communication across disciplines.

The achievements and insights shared at VAICT 2026 will further drive innovation and application in vision, advanced imaging and computer technology. We look forward to continuing academic cooperation with global researchers and practitioners, and meeting you again in future VAICT conferences to jointly promote the development of related fields.
